Meditation and mindfulness belong in the workplace. They also belong in our educational institutions where they can help mitigate the youth mental health crisis.

My intention here is to plant the seeds for a conversation on how we might explore meditation and mindfulness together.

Explore meditation, presence/mindfulness, and therapeutic yoga one-on-one.

 

These practices can also be integrated into leadership off-sites, transition management programs, and trainings/workshops to improve wellbeing and enhance clarity, focus, creativity, and resilience.

Pilot a “Follow Your Bliss” after-school program to teach children self-care, presence (mindfulness), some simple yoga practices, meditation, and creative activities – dance, art, and journaling.

 

These programs can also bolster literacy with a focus on books that teach mindfulness.
